EU data residency for meeting AI
ReVoice hosts its servers, database and cache in Frankfurt, stores recordings, media and documents in an EU data region, and runs transcription, AI analysis and voice on EU-region services. Payments and transactional email run outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Stage by stage
- Hosting: servers, database and cache run in Frankfurt
- Storage: recordings, media and documents are stored in an EU data region, and the storage client refuses to start against a non-EU endpoint
- Transcription: speech-to-text runs on EU endpoints and the provider's model-improvement option is switched off
- AI analysis: summaries, insights and search run on EU-region AI services
- Voice: the optional spoken reply is generated in the same EU region
The exceptions, stated plainly

Residency describes where data is processed and stored. It does not by itself decide which laws apply to a provider, which is why the data processing agreement and the sub-processor list matter alongside it.
