Overview
ReVoice is an AI meeting-intelligence platform that transcribes your meetings and generates summaries and action items. This page explains how to add, use, and remove the Microsoft Teams integration.
The integration uses Microsoft Graph over OAuth to post meeting summaries to a Teams channel you choose. It does not read your Teams messages.
Prerequisites
- A ReVoice account at https://re-voice.io with permission to manage integrations in your workspace.
- A ReVoice paid plan (Individual or higher). If your workspace admin has restricted this integration, use Request access on the card.
- A Microsoft Teams account where you belong to at least one team and channel.
Adding the app
Follow these steps to connect Microsoft Teams to ReVoice:
- Sign in to ReVoice at https://re-voice.io.
- Go to Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Microsoft Teams and click Connect.
- On Microsoft's consent screen, review the requested permissions and click Accept.
- You are returned to ReVoice, where Microsoft Teams shows as Connected.

Using the app
After connecting, you can use the following features:
- Confirm the connection: Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams shows as Connected.
- Choose where summaries are posted: open Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams, pick the team and channel that should receive summaries, and save.
- Post meeting summaries to Teams: after a meeting is processed, its summary is posted as an Adaptive Card (title, overview, action items, and key highlights, plus a link back to ReVoice) to the channel you selected, either on demand or automatically.
Removing the app
You can remove the integration from either side.
From ReVoice: go to Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams, and click Disconnect.
From your Microsoft account: open https://myapps.microsoft.com, find ReVoice, and remove its access.
- Consequences of removal: ReVoice stops posting meeting summaries to Teams. Any automatic summary posting for this connection stops immediately.
- How your data is handled: ReVoice clears the stored Microsoft access and refresh tokens and marks the connection as disconnected in its database. Because Microsoft does not offer a simple app-side token revoke, remove ReVoice from your Microsoft account (above) to fully revoke access.
- Your ReVoice meetings and transcripts are not deleted by disconnecting Teams; they remain in your ReVoice account.
Troubleshooting
- Teams shows 'Reconnect needed': your authorization expired or was revoked. Go to Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams, and click Connect again.
- No channels appear in the selector: make sure you belong to at least one team with a channel, then reconnect.
- A summary was not posted: confirm a team and channel are selected and that the connection is still active, then re-run the summary.
- The consent screen shows an error: make sure you are signing in to the correct Microsoft account, then retry from Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams.
Frequently asked questions
Does ReVoice read my Teams messages? No. ReVoice only lists the teams and channels you can post to and posts the summaries you choose to send.
Why does disconnecting keep my connection record? Microsoft has no simple app-side revoke, so ReVoice clears your tokens and marks the connection disconnected. To fully revoke, remove ReVoice from your Microsoft account.
Do I need a paid plan? Yes. Microsoft Teams is available on the Individual plan and higher.
Where is my data stored? Connection data and OAuth tokens are stored in our EU-hosted database, and tokens are encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for details.
