Overview
ReVoice is an AI meeting-intelligence platform that transcribes your meetings and generates summaries and action items. This page explains how to add, use, and remove the Fortnox integration.
The integration uses the Fortnox API over OAuth so that, during a meeting, you can turn spoken or typed commands into Fortnox drafts (such as a quote or an invoice). Nothing is written to Fortnox until you review and confirm the draft.
Prerequisites
- A ReVoice account at https://re-voice.io with permission to manage integrations in your workspace.
- A ReVoice Business plan. If your workspace admin has restricted this integration, use Request access on the card.
- A Fortnox account whose administrator can approve the connection.
Adding the app
Follow these steps to connect Fortnox to ReVoice:
- Sign in to ReVoice at https://re-voice.io.
- Go to Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Fortnox and click Connect.
- On the Fortnox authorization screen, sign in, review the requested access, and approve.
- You are returned to ReVoice, where Fortnox shows as Connected.
| Access | Why ReVoice needs it |
|---|
| Company information (companyinformation) | Confirm which Fortnox company is connected and read basic company details for drafts. |
| Customers (customer) | Look up and, on your confirmation, create customers referenced in a command. |
| Quotes and orders (offer, order) | Prepare and, on your confirmation, create quotes and orders from a meeting command. |
| Invoices and articles (invoice, article) | Prepare and, on your confirmation, create invoices, and read articles used on them. |
| Projects, suppliers, salary, time reporting (project, supplier, salary, timereporting) | Read the reference data a command may need so a draft is complete and accurate. |
If a step does not work, see the Troubleshooting section below.
Using the app
After connecting, you can use the following features:
- Confirm the connection: Settings, then Integrations, then Fortnox shows as Connected, with the active environment (Production or Sandbox) if your workspace has Sandbox enabled.
- Turn a meeting command into a draft: when you speak or type a command in a meeting (for example, create a quote for Acme Ltd for 15000), ReVoice prepares a Fortnox draft and shows it for review.
- Confirm to create in Fortnox: the draft is only written to Fortnox after you confirm it on the Live Command Center card. Until then nothing is created, changed, or sent.
- Review activity: the Fortnox dashboard in ReVoice shows the drafts and actions created from your meetings.
Removing the app
You can remove the integration from either side.
From ReVoice: go to Settings, then Integrations, then Fortnox, and click Disconnect.
From Fortnox: sign in to Fortnox and remove ReVoice from your connected apps or API integrations.
- Consequences of removal: ReVoice can no longer prepare or create Fortnox drafts from your meetings. Any records already created in Fortnox remain in Fortnox.
- How your data is handled: ReVoice deletes the stored Fortnox connection (the OAuth tokens) from its database.
- Your ReVoice meetings and transcripts are not deleted by disconnecting Fortnox; they remain in your ReVoice account.
Troubleshooting
- Fortnox shows 'Reconnect needed': your authorization expired or was revoked. Go to Settings, then Integrations, then Fortnox, and click Connect again.
- A command did not produce a draft: confirm Fortnox is connected and that Fortnox voice commands are enabled for your workspace, then try the command again.
- A draft was not created in Fortnox: a draft is only created after you confirm it; open the Live Command Center card and confirm the draft.
- The authorization screen shows an error: make sure you are signing in to the correct Fortnox account, then retry from Settings, then Integrations, then Fortnox.
Frequently asked questions
Can ReVoice change my Fortnox data on its own? No. ReVoice only prepares drafts. A draft is written to Fortnox after you explicitly confirm it.
What can it create? Based on your command and your confirmation, it can create records such as customers, quotes, orders, and invoices.
Do I need a paid plan? Yes. Fortnox is available on the Business plan.
Where is my data stored? Connection data and OAuth tokens are stored in our EU-hosted database, and tokens are encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for details.
