Overview
ReVoice is an AI meeting-intelligence platform that transcribes your meetings and generates summaries and action items. This page explains how to add, use, and remove the Zapier integration.
Unlike the other integrations, Zapier does not use an authorization screen. Instead ReVoice gives you a read-only API key that you paste into Zapier, so your Zaps can react to meeting events.
Prerequisites
- A ReVoice account at https://re-voice.io with permission to manage integrations in your workspace.
- A ReVoice paid plan (Individual or higher). If your workspace admin has restricted this integration, use Request access on the card.
- A Zapier account.
Adding the app
Connecting Zapier is a two-part step: generate a key in ReVoice, then paste it into Zapier.
- Sign in to ReVoice at https://re-voice.io.
- Go to Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Zapier and click Connect. ReVoice generates a read-only API key and shows it once.
- Copy the key. It is shown only once; if you lose it, disconnect and reconnect to generate a new one.
- In Zapier, create a Zap that uses ReVoice, and paste the key when Zapier asks you to connect your ReVoice account.
| Access | What the key can do |
|---|
| Read access (read) | Zapier can read your meeting data, such as when a meeting is completed and its summary and action items, to trigger your Zaps. The key cannot change or delete anything in ReVoice. |
If a step does not work, see the Troubleshooting section below.
Using the app
After connecting, you can use the following features:
- Confirm the connection: Settings, then Integrations, then Zapier shows as Connected, with the key prefix and the number of active Zap subscriptions.
- Trigger Zaps from meetings: when a meeting is completed, ReVoice sends the event (including the summary and action items) to Zapier, so your Zaps can run downstream actions in other apps.
- Manage your Zaps in Zapier: build and edit the automations that react to ReVoice events on the Zapier side.
Removing the app
You can remove the integration from either side.
From ReVoice: go to Settings, then Integrations, then Zapier, and click Disconnect.
From Zapier: turn off or delete the Zaps that use ReVoice.
- Consequences of removal: ReVoice deletes the Zapier API key, so it stops sending meeting events. Any Zaps that rely on the key stop receiving data.
- How your data is handled: ReVoice deletes the stored Zapier API key from its database. Your existing Zap definitions live in Zapier and are managed there.
- Your ReVoice meetings and transcripts are not deleted by disconnecting Zapier; they remain in your ReVoice account.
Troubleshooting
- Zapier says the key is invalid: the key may have been regenerated or disconnected. In ReVoice, reconnect Zapier to generate a new key, then paste it into Zapier.
- You lost the key: the key is shown only once. Disconnect and reconnect Zapier in ReVoice to generate a new one.
- A Zap did not run: confirm the Zap is turned on in Zapier and that the ReVoice connection there uses your current key.
- You want to rotate the key: disconnect and reconnect Zapier in ReVoice; the previous key is revoked and a new one is issued.
Frequently asked questions
Can Zapier change my ReVoice data? No. The key is read-only, so Zapier can read meeting events but cannot change or delete anything in ReVoice.
Is the key shown more than once? No. For security the key is shown only at creation. If you lose it, reconnect to generate a new one.
Do I need a paid plan? Yes. Zapier is available on the Individual plan and higher.
Where is my data stored? The API key (hashed) and connection data are stored in our EU-hosted database. See our Privacy Policy for details.
