Overview

ReVoice is an AI meeting-intelligence platform that transcribes your meetings and generates summaries and action items. This page explains how to add, use, and remove the Salesforce integration.

The integration uses the Salesforce API over OAuth so you can save a meeting summary to Salesforce and link it to an opportunity.

Prerequisites

  • A ReVoice account at https://re-voice.io with permission to manage integrations in your workspace.
  • A ReVoice Business plan. If your workspace admin has restricted this integration, use Request access on the card.
  • A Salesforce account with permission to create notes and read opportunities.

Adding the app

Follow these steps to connect Salesforce to ReVoice:

  • Sign in to ReVoice at https://re-voice.io.
  • Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  • Find Salesforce and click Connect.
  • On the Salesforce login screen, sign in, review the requested access, and click Allow.
  • You are returned to ReVoice, where Salesforce shows as Connected.
AccessWhy ReVoice needs it
Access your Salesforce data (api)Read your opportunities so you can link a summary, and create a note with the meeting summary when you choose to.
Stay connected (refresh_token)Keep the connection working without asking you to sign in again for every push.

If a step does not work, see the Troubleshooting section below.

Using the app

After connecting, you can use the following features:

  • Confirm the connection: Settings, then Integrations, then Salesforce shows as Connected.
  • Save a summary to Salesforce: after a meeting, push its summary to Salesforce, where it is saved as a note.
  • Link to an opportunity: search your Salesforce opportunities and attach the note to the right one so the meeting is recorded against the deal.

Removing the app

You can remove the integration from either side.

From ReVoice: go to Settings, then Integrations, then Salesforce, and click Disconnect.

From Salesforce: sign in to Salesforce and remove ReVoice from your connected apps under your personal settings.

  • Consequences of removal: ReVoice can no longer read your opportunities or save summaries to Salesforce. Notes already saved in Salesforce remain in Salesforce.
  • How your data is handled: ReVoice deletes the stored Salesforce connection (the OAuth tokens and instance URL) from its database.
  • Your ReVoice meetings and transcripts are not deleted by disconnecting Salesforce; they remain in your ReVoice account.

Troubleshooting

  • Salesforce shows 'Reconnect needed': your authorization expired or was revoked. Go to Settings, then Integrations, then Salesforce, and click Connect again.
  • No opportunities appear: confirm your Salesforce user can read opportunities, then reconnect.
  • A summary was not saved: confirm the connection is still active and that you selected an opportunity, then push the summary again.
  • The login screen shows an error: make sure you are signing in to the correct Salesforce org, then retry from Settings, then Integrations, then Salesforce.

Frequently asked questions

What does ReVoice write to Salesforce? A note containing the meeting summary, which you can link to an opportunity.

Does ReVoice change my opportunities? It reads opportunities so you can link a note, and records the meeting activity against the one you choose; it does not otherwise edit your opportunity fields.

Do I need a paid plan? Yes. Salesforce is available on the Business plan.

Where is my data stored? Connection data and OAuth tokens are stored in our EU-hosted database, and tokens are encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for details.
